Join us for “1,000 Books Across Fairfax,” an all-day read-in to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program. In celebration Martha Washington Library will be having an afternoon of books, reading and fun. Please stop by and join us. 

Join us at 2:00pm for the first group walk through our new StoryWalk.  In cooperation with the Mt. Vernon Rec Center, families are invited to take a walk through the woods while following the pages of a book.  Our StoryWalk is located on the trail following Fort Hunt Road starting just past the library.
