Stop by Kings Park Library during open hours from November 29 through December 31 for the traditional Holiday Sale sponsored by the Friends of Kings Park Library. The sale offers puzzles and holiday-themed books for adults and children. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Kings Park Library.

Playdate cafe is our regular weekly time for kids and adults to enjoy free-play and socialize in an informal setting - blocks, cars, puppets, music, and more.

French Conversation Group 

A group for those who want to learn and practice the French language. Adults. 

The Maker Lab @ Herndon is a space designed for people who love to learn, discover, and explore. It's a place where you can learn new skills, work on fun projects, and connect with other makers in your community. The MakerLab provides access to a variety of tools and equipment including: 3D printer, sewing & embroidery machines, Cricut & Cameo cutting machines, robotics, circuits, and more. 

Drop-in time is self-directed.  We cannot ensure that staff will always be available to provide expert assistance with every device and tool, but we are committed to helping our Makers create and explore and make the most of this exciting library space!

AGE REQUIREMENT:
We welcome all Makers ages 12 and up. Please ask at the information desk about opportunities for Makers under the age of 12.

The Maker Lab hours are subject to adjustments or closures for special events and programs.

 

Sitting in chairs, students learn how to find stability, alignment and integrity for stretches & safe movement for the entire body. Sessions taught by a certified yoga instructor. Adults.
