The arrest and death of a young 22 year old woman named Mahsa Amini in Iran this past September sparked a veritable women’s revolution in Iran - the first of its kind in the world. The uprising continues today. Spearheaded mostly by young women but also by men who stand in solidarity with them.

These young people want their voices heard and the world has responded by posting and re-posting the protest art created both inside and outside Iran.

Please join us on Monday, February 13 at 7 PM at the Great Falls Library where Great Falls Studios artist and member Parinaz Bahadori will showcase this art and put some of the symbolism in context.
