Introduction to Life Story Writing
Join us for an engaging presentation on how writing themed autobiography stories can enhance and enrich your personal legacy. Leading the presentation is Craig Siulinski, sole proprietor of Sharing Legacies, a small business begun in 2014 to assist people to write, share and preserve their family histories and their life stories. Every life story is a treasure to preserve for generations to come!
Craig is also an educator and writer as well as an avid genealogist. He holds a Master of Science degree in Education from California State University East Bay, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Maine.
Participants will learn how their own stories can be empowering for themselves but also for their family’s history. Participants will engage in a few writing exercises to jog the mind and memory. Relevant handouts will be provided.
Please Note: This presentation will involve audience participation during short writing exercises and for partner or triad sharing in breakout rooms. The presenter would like to interact with his audience at several points during the presentation. This process can best be accomplished if all participants come prepared to have their cameras turned on.
