Poetry dances with Prose

Anita will discuss and read from her books: What’s wrong with us Kali women?: a collection of prose poems and, Kisses at the espresso bar, a collection of ekphrastic prose poetry. In her poetry books, Anita covers themes around injustices that abound our world.

About the Author

author daAnita Nahal

Dr. Anita Nahal, a Pushcart Prize nominated author, teaches at the University of the District of Columbia, Washington DC. Her third poetry book, What’s wrong with us Kali women? (Kelsay, 2021) was nominated as the best poetry book, 2021 for Ars Notoria. It has also been prescribed as mandatory reading in an elective course on Multicultural Society at Utrecht University, The Netherlands. Find out more about Anita at www.anitanahal.com.
