The focus of moden dance is expression. Modern dance movements are consdered freeform and fluid, and are often inspired by other dance styles - like African dance, ballet, and folk dance.

Class Attire - Workout clothes (not too baggy), socks, ballet, or jazz shoes.

About Shelley Siller  

Shelley Siller grew up in Cape Coral, FL, where she studied Cecchetti ballet technique and all movement styles at Pine Island Dance. After moving to Washington, D.C., sher continued her training under gallet master Pamela Moore, while continuining other dance disciplines at Cuppett Performing Arts Center and Pre-professional contemporary company IMPACT Dance under Kelly Payne and Candra Eglin. Shelley has performed at many notable Washington venues, including the JFK Contennial at the Kennedy Center as a guest with Company E. In 2017, Shelley began touring her work internationally and was honore to perform her solos, "Sól" and "PasD'Sass" in the Edinburgh Fringe festival, two cities in Guatemala, and in France.
