Local author P. O'Connell Pearson will discuss her latest book, "We Are Your Children, Too: Black Students, White Supremacists, and the Battle for America's Schools in Prince Edward County, Virginia". 

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Patricia O’Connell Pearson is a former history teacher and history content specialist. She earned her MFA in Writing for Young People from Lesley University and is the author of four nonfiction histories. She can often be found talking about history as a volunteer with the National Park Service in Washington, DC.
