Addressing Domestic Violence with Legal Services of Northern Virginia

Hear about your rights and the legal alternatives to criminal prosecution to make the abuse stop and build a peaceful future. This session will explain the differences between the criminal and civil court processes and some legal tools to address domestic violence, including protective orders, child custody, civil suits for damages, and other options.  Call or register online.  For adults.  

Legal Services of Northern Virginia (LSNV) is a non-profit law firm that practices in civil legal matters, but do not handle criminal, traffic, or immigration law.  LSNV offers free legal services to eligible recipients and free legal information to all members of the community.
