What's Up With Graphics?: A Grown-Up's Introduction to Graphic Novels

What's Up With Graphics?: A Grown-Up's Introduction to Graphic Novels

Wondering why your kids are so obsessed with graphic novels? Concerned that comics aren't "real" books? Join us for our graphic novel explainer session for grown-ups!

This session will provide participants with a better understanding of what sequential art is (comics, graphic novels), how it works, the challenges of reading it, and the benefits and literacy values of the form. We'll take a look at some different types of graphic novels and have a chance to experiment with creating our own sequential art.

This program will be offered again on Monday, December 4, at 7:00 pm.
