Dragon dance is traditionally performed to bring good luck for the New Year. It is an important part of  of China’s cultural heritage. 

ABOUT THE PERFORMERS

The Jow Ga Shaolin Institute 周家少林堂 ( jau ga shàolín táng ) is a traditional Chinese martial arts school located in Herndon, VA. They provide training in Tai Chi and Kung Fu. Their Demo team performs not only martial arts, but also Lion Dance and Dragon Dance.
