Wonderful World of Bats

Step inside the exotic world of bats! Learn about echolocation, hibernation and migration and see vivid photos of a variety of bats.  Bats are vital for maintaining a healthy environment and participants will gain an understanding of the importance of bats for farmers, fruit growers, the rainforest and more. The program will conclude with a bat t-shirt craft (t-shirts and all materials provided).

 

About the Presenter 

Jerry Schneider, inventor of the award winning Butterfly Game, has presented nature programs in schools and libraries for the past twenty years throughout the Eastern US. His programs help inspire youth to pay more attention to butterflies, bees, bats and other pollinators.
