Black Education in Alexandria: The Alexandria Community Remembrance Project

Learn about the history of African-American education in Alexandria as part of the Alexandria Community Remembrance Project (ACRP). Speakers Audrey Davis, Director of Alexandria Black History Museum, and Tiffany Pache, ACRP coordinator, will discuss the efforts of this monumental project. 

Join Ms.Pache and Ms.Davis as they discuss black education in the late 1700s, the notorious doctrine "Separate but Equal", and the impact and legacy of segregation on Alexandria's community.
