Yoga for Wellness Retreat | Mind & Body Reset

Yoga for Wellness Retreat | Mind & Body Reset

Tapping into the wisdom of the body

Did you know Yoga was meant to be an entire lifestyle? Yoga helps develop core strength, prevent injuries, support mental focus and lower levels of stress and anxiety. This retreat will include breathwork, yoga asanas (poses) accessible both on the chair and mat, some massage techniques and short meditation, including sound healing. Cosponsored by the Fairfax Library Foundation.

No previous experience is required. Wear comfortable clothes. Please bring a Yoga mat or a blanket or large towel, blocks or any other props you may like to use and a water bottle. Feel free to bring any journaling props you may like to use. Chairs will be available for the sitting practice. You are invited to practice mindful listening and speech during the retreat and turn off your cell phone.
