AANHPI Stories: Ginger, Bok Choy, Soy Sauce, Oh My!

AANHPI Stories: Ginger, Bok Choy, Soy Sauce, Oh My!

Do you love Asian food but are too intimidated to cook at home?

Join local cookbook author and Asian cooking expert Pat Tanumihardja as she demystifies the ingredients that go into your favorite dishes like Pad Thai, Kung Pao chicken, Bulgogi, and more. After raiding her pantry/kitchen for a “show and tell,” Pat will also show you how to make “Gado Gado,” a simple Indonesian vegetable dish with peanut sauce from her soon-to-be-launched cookbook “Mortar and Pestle,” all while regaling you with AAPI stories from her childhood and her experience as a food writer. Bring questions. Pat will answer them as best as she can!Pat
