Create your own unique recipe for FCPL's Teen Chopped Challenge! Use our three mystery ingredients to make something fun and delicious. Submit your recipe between June 12 - August 16 via our online submission form (available June 12.) This competition is for ages 12-18. 

 A limited quantity of ingredient kits will be available at select library branches. These are first come, first served.

Kits will be available at:

• Chantilly Regional

• Dolley Madison Library

• John Marshall Library

• Kings Park Library

• Patrick Henry Library

• Sherwood Regional

To enter the contest:

1. Register for our Teen Chopped Challenge Kickoff on Friday, June 14 at 4 p.m. to learn more about the contest and get some helpful hints and tips from a professional chef.

2. Pick up a limited supply of mystery ingredient kit from one of 6 participating library branches beginning June 12. 

3. Create an original recipe using all of the mystery ingredients.

4. Take a photo of your completed dish.

5. Complete the online submissions form (available on June 12) or return your completed recipe card to your local library branch by August 16.

6. If you are bringing your completed recipe card to your local library branch, send the photo of your dish to LibTeenServices@fairfaxcounty.gov. No links to Google files, please. JPEG, PNG, or PDF attachments only.
