Origami Take and Make - Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

FCPL celebrates Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in May!

Pick up an origami kit at Richard Byrd this week only for the first week of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Paper art like origami is commonly associated with Japan, so paper and instructions are included in the kit. Designs range from easy to quite hard so there's something for every age and skill level.

For materials about Japanese culture and travel, click here!

This kit is for all ages and available while supplies last. If you have questions about the appropriate age for a program, its content, or accomodations, please call the branch at 703-451-8055 (option 4).
