QIGONG: ANCIENT CHINESE EXERCISES

What is Qigong?

Qigong (pronounced Chee-gung) is an ancient Chinese practice that combines movement, breath, and meditation to reduce stress, improve health, emotional balance, and encourage a sense of well-being.

Takeaway from the lesson:

Participants will learn a simple qigong form along with qigong warmups, stretches, suggestions for practice, and information on various aspects of qigong. Join Pauline Reid, a certified qigong teacher, as she guides you through simple movement to release, relax, and revitalize. Movements can be modified to suit individual needs. 

This event has 4 sessions. Registration is required for each session. You may join at any time. Adults and Older Adults.

Pauline Reid has been a student of Qigong and Tai Chi since 1989 and began teaching in 1997. She is certified to teach several styles of Qigong and holds Advanced Instructor Certification through the National Qigong Association https://www.nqa.org/. She is also a member of Peaceable Dragon www.peaceabledragon.org, a consortium of instructors in the internal arts. Along with offering private instruction, weekly classes and workshops, Pauline mentors other Qigong instructors and aspiring instructors.
