TAI CHI Lessons at the Oakton Library

The classes introduce people to the second part of Tai Chi (TaiJi) 24 forms. Participants can improve balance by strengthening muscle controls from the movements.   

Parts of classes: 

  • Every class begins with the warm-up exercise.
  • The first class will be reviewing "The first 12 movements of the Simplified Yang TaiJi 24 forms". 
  • From the 2nd class and forward, one or two movements of (the movement 13 to 24) the TaiJi 24 forms will be introduced.
  • Every class ends with one of the eight movements of 8 Brocades. 

Although not necessary, all participants are encouraged to have some knowledge of TaiChi (TaiJi)

This event has 8 sessions. Registration is required for each session.
