Community Reading of "A Christmas Carol"

Community Reading of "A Christmas Carol"

Join us in reading the Dickens masterpiece aloud from start to finish in a public reading using the original text of the 1843 novella. All are invited and encouraged to attend — individuals, families, book clubs and groups — and participate by reading a portion of the book.

All reading levels are welcomed and festive attire is encouraged. Cookies, hot cocoa and spiced apple cider will be available.

Please call the library to register for a 30-minute time slot: 5:30-6, 6-6:30, 6:30-7, 7-7:30, 7:30-8, 8-8:30.

With 3 readers per slot, each reader will get to read for 9 minutes. If we have 4 readers, each will get 7 minutes to read.  Copies of the book from which to read will be provided.

Those who do not wish to read are invited to attend, without registering, as well.
