Sensory Sensitive Storytime

Are traditional Storytimes overwhelming for your toddler or preschooler? Our Sensory Sensitive Storytimes are designed for children who require a calm environment and sensory input to access programming. We turn down the lights and explore with our senses.while working on early literacy and pre-kindergarten skills.

Please note: while this program is open to all it is tailored to meet the needs of children with sensory concerns. For that reason, programming begins before the library opens and we do our best to limit interruptions. In order to participate in the program please arrive on time. Staff will not be able to admit you to the program once it begins.
