Join author Cindy Bennett as she recounts the wicked and wild side of Fairfax County. She will share stories from her book, e.g. the Bunnyman, Ebola, Cold War spies, etc.

About the presenter

Cindy Bennett photo

A native of Ohio, Cindy Bennett earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Akron, and a M.A. in the same subject from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Prior to her retirement in 2021, Cindy spent 15 years as the Director of a trade association foundation, and is still working as the co-owner of Archery Academy in Fairfax Station. In volunteer work, she is the Treasurer of the Burke Historical Society and a leader of her granddaughter’s Brownie troop. She is the author of Wicked Fairfax County and Celebrating 100 Years of Gearing: The History of the American Gear Manufacturers Association
