Emergency Preparedness
Disasters happen, and they can affect you, your family, and your community. The number of disasters in the United States each year is increasing, according to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Fairfax County faces many hazards, including major storms, hurricanes, and power outages. Since many of these are hard to predict or happen with little warning, this workshop will use the Community Emergency Response Guide to help you prepare for what to do when disaster strikes.
Presented by the Fairfax County Department of Emergency Management and Security. Adults.
