Fairfax County is one of the most haunted areas in the country. From Arlington National Cemetery to countless battlefields, old towns, historic houses and memorials, all contain spooky stories that are longing to be told. Author and paranormal researcher Alex Matsuo delves deep into ghostly lore to tell tales that haunt.

About Alex Matsuo:

Alex Matsuo is a paranormal researcher, investigator and author. She is the founder of the Association of Paranormal Study and runs the blog The Spooky Stuff, which features various paranormal topics and historical places with reports of ghosts. Alex has been featured on Travel Channel, Discovery Plus, CTV Sci-Fi and Tubi. Some of her other books include Women of the Paranormal, vol. 1A Brief HistoryThe Hamptonville Hauntings: Ghosts of the Trivette ClinicOne Bed Over: A Hospital Haunting; and The Brave Mortal’s Guide to Ghost Hunting. Alex holds a Master of Arts degree in theater from San Diego State University and works as a learning experience designer in Arlington, Virginia.
