Great Decisions: Evolution of U.S. Leadership in the Global Economy

Great Decisions: Evolution of U.S. Leadership in the Global Economy

Join us for this discussion of how the U.S. has pivoted away from neoliberalism as a foreign policy approach over the past two presidential terms.

The conversation will revolve around the article "The Evolution of U.S. Leadership in the Global Economy" by Daniel Drezner, which is attached to this announcement and available at the library. Leading our talk will be Stephen Creskoff, an international trade lawyer, World Trade Organization agreements expert, and former Deputy to the Assistant Secretary, US Treasury Department during the Carter administration.

A short film on the topic will be shown at 1:00, followed by a discussion at 1:30.
