Great Decisions: International Cooperation on Climate Change
Join us for a discussion of the article "International Climate Cooperation in an Era of Geopolitical Turmoil" by Joshua Busby. It is attached to this announcement and hard copies are available at Reston Library.
Leading the talk will be Dr. Robert Ehrlich, professor emeritus of physics at GMU, where he has chaired the department. He began his career after receiving a Ph.D. in physics from Columbia University in 1964. Prior to joining George Mason, he held faculty positions at the University of Pennsylvania, Rutgers University, and the State University of New York at New Paltz, where he chaired the physics department for five years. Most of his research has been in particle physics, but he has published in other areas as well, including renewable energy, nuclear weapons issues, climate change, and physics education.
A short film on the topic will be shown at 12:30, followed by discussion at 1:00.
