Great Decisions: Competition, Cold War, or Conflict? Navigating U.S.-China Relations in Tense Times

Great Decisions: Competition, Cold War, or Conflict? Navigating U.S.-China Relations in Tense Times

There is one thing that people can agree on across the aisle in Washington, DC: The United States is in a strategic competition with a rising China that poses a range of economic, political, and military security challenges.

Join us for a discussion of the article “Competition, Cold War, or Conflict? Navigating U.S.-China Relations in Tense Times" by Thomas J. Christensen. It is attached to this announcement and hard copies will be available at Reston Library. Leading our talk will be Dr. Scott Kennedy, senior adviser and trustee chair in Chinese Business and Economics at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).
