Hands-on History: Native Americans of the Potomac

Herndon Fortnightly Celebrates Native American History Month!

Learn about the customs and values of the indigenous people of the Potomac region and the contributions they continue to make today! Learn to appreciate, connect with, and care for the plants, animals, and earth in the same way the Native Americans do. Touch and explore artifact replicas, tell a traditional folklore story, and learn to shoot a bow & arrow.

Presented by Riverbend Park, FCPA and sponsored by the Friends of the Herndon Fortnightly Library

This program is best for ages 7 and up, with an adult. Space is limited, so arrive early. Late arrivals are not guaranteed admission.
