Out-of-the-Chair-Experience Yoga
This fun, laid-back yoga class is for people who want to increase their activity level with both standing and seated yoga poses. For the first 10-15 minutes, our time in the chair will focus on breathing exercises and a short meditation. Then, we will move to standing poses which will build strength, flexibility, and a good sense of balance. Throughout the class, we will focus on relaxing and moving harmoniously with the breath. Poses will be simple but not always easy, and class members are encouraged to sit and rest whenever necessary. You will not have to get on the ground for this elevated yoga class. Let's break out of those chairs and have some fun!
Healthy adults (18 and over) who are somewhat sedentary but want to become more active. No previous yoga experience is necessary.
