Intergenerational Beginning Counted Cross Stitch

Intergenerational Beginning Counted Cross Stitch

Learn about counted cross stitch, a type of embroidery that involves stitching in the shape of an X on (for this program) Aida cloth. Why is this craft called counted cross stitch? Because you have to count your stitches! We'll start a mini project in May and if you come back in June (on Worldwide Knit In Public Day, June 14th!), you can learn a few more techniques and get started on another project. Accomplished cross stitchers are welcome to come share their expertise! No registration required, but supplies are limited. Attendees must have experience sewing with needle and thread. Middle school students - Adults are welcome!
