Fairfax County Poet Laureate Angelique Palmer introduces creative strategies to help young wordsmiths fall in love with the tricks of poetry form in "Color | Spice | Texture." Using prompts inspired by food, its colors, and shapes, participants will leave the workshop with first drafts of new work as well as new techniques to add flavor and rhythm to their written words.
