Nourish Your Winter Energy and Align with the Water Element: Workshop with Nevin Turk

Nourish Your Winter Energy and Align with the Water Element: Workshop with Nevin Turk

Are you ready to support your lifestyle with nature’s rhythms and nurture your well-being? In the practice of Chinese medicine, the change of seasons is not just an external event but is also deeply connected to our internal energies. The Five Elements/Phases theory links each season with specific organs, energy pathways, and emotions, influencing our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Winter, known as the Water phase, is a time to foster the most essential aspects of our health: the bones, kidneys, and nervous system. By focusing attentively during the winter, we can forge a deep connection with our breath, blood, and bones, accessing deep-seated reserves of bravery and vitality.

 Workshop Highlights:

  • Accessible Movement & Qigong: To improve circulation, to nurture the body at deep tissue level with a focus on bone density building and promote well-being.
  • Breathing Practices & Guided Meditations: Explore slowing down and softening as a way to build inner strength and practice deep listening.
  • Informative Talk & Practical Demonstrations: Learn about the Five Elements framework.
  • Lifestyle Adjustments: Support the Water element/Winter season through diet, nutrition, and daily habits to stay balanced throughout the winter months.
  • Q&A and Discussion: Engage and ask questions

 Who Should Attend:

  • Anyone looking to feel more balanced in mind and body
  • Individuals looking for holistic bone strength building natural movement forms and nutrition recommendations
  • Anyone wanting to release fear and anxiety and cultivate inner calm
  • Those interested in learning more about the Five Elements/Phases framework, a foundational pillar of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
