Spring Qigong- Align with the Wood Element | Workshop with Nevin Turk

Spring Qigong- Align with the Wood Element | Workshop with Nevin Turk

Are you ready to support your lifestyle with nature’s rhythms and nurture your well-being?

Can you feel the sense of new beginnings in nature? Spring brings new energy and life, which we can clearly observe around us in nature. Spring's energy of growth and change is an opportune time for us to embody a similar energy within ourselves. In Chinese medicine, the changing seasons are not merely external events but are deeply interconnected with the energies within us. The Five Elements/Phases approach links each season to specific organs, meridians, and emotions, influencing our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Spring, or the Wood phase, is the time to connect deeply with our roots to develop resilience and flexibility against the worldly winds. It is an excellent time to reboot our energy system, get active, focus on goals, start new projects, grow new perspectives, and manifest our highest potential.

 Workshop Highlights:

  • Accessible Movement & Qigong: Strengthen the tendons and connective tissues, improve circulation, detoxify the liver and promote well-being.
  • Breathing Practices & Guided Meditations: Explore pausing and gazing attentively as a way to build a bigger perspective and a new vision in life.
  • Informative Talk & Practical Demonstrations: Learn about the Five Elements framework.
  • Lifestyle Adjustments: Support the Wood element/Spring season through diet, nutrition, and daily habits to stay balanced throughout the winter months.
  • Q&A and Discussion: Engage and ask questions.

 Who Should Attend:

  • Anyone looking to feel more balanced in mind and body
  • Individuals looking for flexible movement patterns including connective tissue (fascia, including tendons and ligaments) strengthening natural movement forms
  • Anyone wanting to release anger, irritability and cultivate forgiveness using practices of healing sounds
