The Wildlife of Uganda

Local naturalist William Young will share photos and commentary about chimpanzees, rhinos, elephants, and other animals and birds he saw on his recent trip to Uganda. Q&A to follow.

William Young is the author of The Fascination of Birds: From the Albatross to the Yellowthroat (Dover Birds) and co-creator of mpnature.com. He is a frequent lecturer for the Northern Virginia Bird Alliance, a chapter of the National Audubon Society. His YouTube channel has gotten over one million views. This is a hybrid event. Bill will be speaking virtually, and attendees have the choice of attending in-person or virtually using Microsoft Teams. A Microsoft Teams link will be sent out the day of the event to anyone registered for virtual attendance. 

This event is open to teens and adults, ages 14+. Registration required.
