Scottish Holiday Celebration

Kids learn to make a Scottish traditional shortbread cookie, learn about the country of Scotland and a traditional dance, and make some Scottish crafts.

Shortbread has a buttery flavor and a texture that slightly crumbles beneath your teeth and absolutely melts in your mouth. Shortbread or shortie is a traditional Scottish biscuit usually made from one part white sugar, two parts butter, and three to four parts plain wheat flour. Kids will be taste testing the yummy dessert, so be aware of allergies.

Registration required, but walk-ins are welcome if space is available. Designed for kids 6-12.
