Help Your Child Succeed: Free Speech and Language Screenings

Good hearing and speech are important for learning, making friends, and feeling confident. If a child has trouble hearing or speaking clearly, they might struggle in school or have a hard time communicating with others. A simple speech and hearing screening can help catch problems early, so kids can get the support they need to succeed.

If you’ve noticed your child isn’t talking as much as other kids their age, has trouble pronouncing words, or doesn’t always respond when you call their name, it’s a good idea to get them checked. Early help makes a big difference!

Free speech screenings will be available at our library during National Speech, Language, & Hearing Month in May.
