What the heck is a Death Doula?

What the heck is a Death Doula?

What the heck is a Death Doula!? Just as a doula helps guide mothers and babies through birth, a death doula guides people through death. Learn what a death doula does for the dying and their families, about the training they undergo, and why one might choose to become a death doula. Bring your questions about death and dying.

This program is perfect for anyone who may one day die, but is best suited for adults ages 18+.

This program is presented by Erika Ostrom of Simply Intentional. Erika is a certified End-of-Life Specialist and Doula with the DoulaGivers Institute, and holds a professional certificate from the University of Vermont as an End-of-Life Doula. She is also a member of the National End of Life Doula Alliance.
