Help improve the County’s 911 responsiveness. George Mason University is collaborating with Fairfax 911 Department of Public Safety on improving Emergency Communication in Fairfax County. Focus group meetings will explore community relationships with first responders, including identifying challenges, needs, and opportunities for improvement. These discussions will help first responders to better understand and anticipate community needs as well as evaluate the community's current understanding of how AI tools are developed to support community.
