The Office of Environmental and Energy Coordination (OEEC) was established in July of 2019 to lead the cross-organizational development and implementation of the county’s environmental, energy and climate policies and programs.
OEEC helps to “connect the dots” between county departments, authorities, businesses, and residents to effectively advance environmental policies and programs.
OEEC improves quality of life in Fairfax County for all by advancing climate action to reduce emissions, building community resilience and adaptation, preserving natural resources, and promoting sustainability.
A resilient, sustainable Fairfax County for all.
