Collateral Damage: Great Falls and Georgetown Pike During the Civil War
Join local historian Karen Washburn for an engaging and informative talk about the experience of residents who lived along Georgetown Pike during the Civil War. While no major battles were fought here, the area was a war zone from 1861-1865. Families were split in their loyalties. Properties were destroyed. And everyone suffered, no matter which side they supported. Adults.
