Hosted by Fairfax Genealogical Society in collaboration with the Virginia Room, this 5-part beginner genealogy series will cover the fundamental aspects of researching family history including developing a research plan, utilizing online and physical resources, learning about common record types, source analysis and documentation.

Lead by Michele LeTourneur, a family history enthusiast and avid researcher. Michele has been interested in family stories for over 35 years but started her own deep-dive into genealogy in 2020. She is a member of the Fairfax Genealogical Society.
