Teen Volunteer Information Session

Looking for community service hours this summer at Richard Byrd Library? The Teen Volunteer Information session will provide an overview of volunteer policies, available tasks, and sign-in procedure for the summer months. Volunteer hours are generally offered in the afternoons on Monday, Wednesday & Thursday along with Tuesday mornings, and will involve program set-up, program assistance, reading with children, and locating books on shelves for collection lists. Students must be between the ages of 13 - 17 years old to volunteer and should plan on a ten-hour commitment over the summer. Students must attend an information session to volunteer at Richard Byrd Library. (Alternate session is Thursday, June 12 at 4:00 p.m.).
