WHALE Tales Water Safety for Children

WHALE Tales Water Safety for Children

Water Habits Are Learned Early

Longfellow's WHALE Tales Introduction

Drowning is a leading cause of death for children in the United States. Prevention is the key to saving lives.

The Red Cross believes that one way to prevent drowning is to teach children about being safer in, on and around the water in a fun and entertaining way. Students from West Springfield's Red Cross club, in partnership with Pohick Library, will present this program that will inspire children while they learn to recognize and understand risks of water safety.  For children in K - 5th grade. No registration required.
