Homeschool Science for Kids - Making Felted Wool Snakes!
What are felted snakes and what do they have to do with science?
Great questions! Felted snakes are...snakes made out of felt. The science of wet felting has to do with the structure of the wool fibers and how they react to warm soapy water.
We will be using the "wet felting" method to make these snakes. Please note this is NOT needle-felting.
Ages 6-12.
