"Abe, Here We Are, Still At It!" How Eight Black Female Students Challenged Virginia's Jim Crow Laws

In May 1944, eight women from Howard University sought to challenge Virginia's Jim Crow bus transportation laws after boarding a bus outside of Vienna and refusing to move to the back. NOVA Parks Historian, Paul McCray, will talk about their efforts and this civil rights case's connection to Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna.
