Fear of Death
As we approach the end of our lives, it's hard not to worry about where we are going and what the journey will be like. To varying degrees, we all have thoughts and feelings about death from time to time during the course of our lives, a natural concern. This course will describe a clinical disorder, thanatophobia, which can affect people of all ages. We will also discuss the normal thoughts and feelings that older adults confront through aging, illness, and the deaths of those around us.
Cosponsored by Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at George Mason University (OLLI Mason).
