Classical Indian Dance Forms

Roomjhoom Nrityalaya, an Indian Classical Dance School, based in Fairfax, VA is proud to showcase a dance presentation on the auspicious occasion of India's Festivals - Navratri and Diwali.  Please come and join us as we present one of the most ancient and traditional dance forms in the world that carries rich history, heritage and culture.  Srabanti Roy is the director of Roomjhoom Nrityalaya, who specializes in Kathak and Bharatanatyam Dance styles.  She has been dancing professionally for over 20+ years and has performed/presented her choreographies/collaborations in numerous reputed venues like The Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. We welcome audience of all age groups to our presentation and invite them to join us on stage after our show, to learn few steps/movements/hand gestures used in our dance form.
