Late Night in the Virginia Room

Are you a night owl family historian? This is your night! Join fellow researchers and genealogists for after-hours research in the Virginia Room. Staff will be on hand to connect you with resources. Research independently or attend a class on how artificial intelligence (AI) can assist with genealogy research. Virginia Room staff will give tours of the Rare Book Room. Researchers will enjoy complimentary pizza and drinks. Attendees MUST register and arrive before the library closes at 6 pm, but may leave at any time.

6:30 – 7:30 p.m.  Photos, Letters, Ledgers and More: Exploring Special Collections in The Virginia Room. Discover the resources that Fairfax County Public Library's Virginia Room has to offer you! Learn about their special collections, genealogy resources, free online databases, and new additions to the collection.
