Maker Monday: Papel Picado Banner

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with us! For this Maker Monday, we are creating papel picado ("perforated paper," "pecked paper") banners! They are a traditional Mexican decorative craft made by cutting elaborate designs into sheets of tissue paper. These banners are typically hung during special celebrations like fiestas and holidays. All materials provided. For Adults.

Reasonable accommodations will be made upon request. Call (703) 256-3800 ext. 4 or TTY (703) 324-8365.
