Author Event: Dana Dillon

Retired Army Officer Dana Dillon will discuss his historical fiction series set during the American Revolutionary War.

Dana Dillon served as an Infantry Officer and as a Foreign Area Officer in international relations and worked with foreign militaries. After retiring from the Army, he worked as a national security and international policy analyst, publishing over 100 articles and the book The China Challenge: Standing Strong Against the Military, Economic and Political Threats that Imperil America. Additionally, he has appeared on national and local news programs and radio shows.

In his profession, Dana studied the background and roots of many wars and revolutions noting the similarities in origins and goals across wide cultural gaps - knowledge he found very relevant when studying the American Revolution. Dana has many fond memories of the Infantry and is deeply sympathetic with his historical predecessors.
