DESCRIPTION:In an age long ago (not that long)\, before the world was 
 blessed with elastic\, there was smocking. \n\nSmocking is a style of 
 embroidery but mostly it was sewing done in a way that bunches fabric 
 beautifully to give it "stretch" before the invention of elastic and 
 spandex and interesting texture before the advent of machine 
 embroidery!\n\nIn this session\, we will practice how to smock in the 
 English style to create trellis and diamond patterns in your 
 fabric.\n\nMaterials provided by the library. Registration is required as 
 supplies are limited.\n\nFor adults.\n\n
